We’ve been following the upcoming Jetpack Joyride [ Free ] update since we first caught wind of it back at GDC . Since then Halfbrick has been slowly teasing additional gadgets which can be going to be included inside the soon-to-be-released update.
Here’s the newest:
In a nutshell, gadgets are going to work kind of like the perk system in Call of Duty and other similar games where you could mix ‘n match two persistent bonuses. It sounds like it may add much more replay value to the game as players slowly figure out which two gadgets they like pairing together.
If all goes as planned, the update have to be landing sometime later this month.
A new patent application from Apple paints a picture of a future filled with gadgets that can be charged wirelessly, and be updated before you even open them up.
Halfbrick knows its Jetpack Joyride [ Free ] users, or Joyriders, need something to spend their hard-earned coin on, so this April will see the release of the gadget system . After the update, possible unlock different sorts of gadgets that’ll do hip stuff, like say, provde the ability to jump to the middle of the screen without the jetpack. A new video that Halfbrick just shot out is showcasing another gadget: the gravity belt.
Definitely consider giving this update (which should hit soon-ish) a look in case you are a fan. If you are not a fan, well, consider becoming one because what’s wrong with you. On a separate note entirely, yay, there’s dubstep on this trailer!
